About Jane Rahenkamp
Like most people, I spent my first 45 years building my life. Grade school, high school, college, marrying my high school sweetheart, apartment, house, bigger house, 1st child, 2nd child, 8 years later – 3rd child, working 9 to 5, moving up the corporate ladder, doing some work on personal development, enjoying my life.
Then I had an opportunity to go back to school for a few courses at Duquesne University and my entire life changed. During my first class, I made the decision that I would get my Master’s in Leadership and Business Ethics and would become an adjunct professor there. I went from letting life control me to taking control of my life. It’s honestly the first time I can remember saying I’m going to do something and actually doing it!
I stayed at Duquesne and received my Master’s degree in 2010 and taught my first class in 2012. I continued to work for the Postal Service as a Manager but teaching was so much more fulfilling. I volunteered to teach leadership courses at the Postal Service in addition to my Manager job but it still wasn’t enough. I retired from the Postal Service and have been blessed to do what I love every day! I continue to teach and coach and spend time with my Grandchildren.
Then one morning in 2015, I was thinking about where I could go next in my life. I had heard about Duquesne’s Coaching Program and was considering attending it. But I was recently divorced, 4 years into a 30 year mortgage on my own and not sure where I would come up with the cost of the tuition. But as I was drying my hair one morning, I heard my soul asking, “What are you waiting for?” and I applied to the Program that day, got accepted, stopped at a local bank and asked for money with no collateral and was given it. Again, I was taking control of my life!
I attended Duquesne’s Coaching Program from 2014 through 2015 and became a Professional Coach in April, 2015. I honestly had no idea where it would take me. I have had the opportunity to help so many people take control of their own lives and bring their wildest dreams to fruition. And I cannot tell you how many people tell me, “You look so happy!” One woman even told me that it makes her sick to always see me so happy. (She probably could use a good coach ☺)
Since that time, I’ve gone to various Coaching trainings: Strength Coaching, Career Coaching, Team Coaching and my favorite Mentor Coaching. I’ve attained my credential as a Professional Certified Coach, with almost 1500 hours of coaching. I’ve become a keynote speaker, an executive coach, a mentor coach, a workshop facilitator and retreat leader in addition to personal life coaching with both women and men who are taking control of their own lives and bringing All Good Things into them.
I truly believe that each of us has the ability to live the best life they can imagine and be as happy and fulfilled as they want (maybe even make someone sick over it) and I am honored to partner with my clients to help them manifest their wildest dreams.

Jane pushed me to explore places in my soul that I had long protected and wasn’t willing to let go, but the effect was considerable growth and clarity." - Beth H.
